Your adventure begins at Domaine de la Chopinière du Roy. After a welcome for the crews, hit the road through the Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil vineyard and discover the village from a new perspective.

The route takes you to the heart of the local wine heritage to an old 10th-century troglodyte cellar.

Descend into a 10th-century cellar

Park your vehicles at the cave entrance, then continue your adventure on foot for less than 300 meters.

Accompanied by your guide, descend 20 meters underground and discover an ancient 10th-century cellar and its galleries.

You will learn about the history of this troglodytic heritage and the secrets of wine preservation underground.

Throughout your visit, discover how time transforms wine, with a tasting of one of our older vintages, which may have aged for several decades.
