Here is the note written by the Guide Hachette des Vins for the Cuvée 12 Arpents 2023:
“A perfect Breton whose deep color suggests a ripe nose, with restrained scents of red fruits and leather. The palate is much more expansive: silky on the attack, it builds in intensity, releases juicy red fruit aromas, relies on melting tannins, and stretches gracefully into a relaxed finish. The balance is perfect and the pleasure is already present, even if it has good aging potential. The jury praises the merits of “a winemaker who knows his vines and how to make wine”. There is no doubt about it.”

For over 30 years, the Guide Hachette des Vins has been a compass for both amateurs and professionals. Each year, nearly 40,000 wines are blind-tasted by an independent jury composed of winemakers, oenologists, sommeliers, etc.
Each wine is rated from 0 to 3 stars, according to strict criteria: aromatic expression, balance on the palate, aging potential… Very few wines tasted receive the maximum rating of 3 stars. It is therefore a true consecration for a cuvée.
The Cuvée 12 Arpents 2023: an expressive wine 🍇
The Cuvée 12 Arpents vintage 2023 is part of our selection of award-winning wines, it comes from a Cabernet Franc grape variety (the king grape variety in the Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil AOC), cultivated by us on our sandy and gravelly soils.
On the palate? Notes of fruit with aromatic richness and beautiful finesse on the palate. This Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil red wine is a Loire Valley wine ideal for cured meats and tender beef. It also pairs perfectly with poultry, white meats, and can be enjoyed with fish in sauce.
